$1mln reward for cold case Rotiroti death
Australian Associated Press
A $1 million reward has been offered as police continue a cold-case investigation into the beating death of Melbourne concrete company boss Salvator “Sam” Rotiroti in 1988.
Police suspect a member of Melbourne’s Calabrian community but believe those who may know something are too afraid to speak out, The Herald Sun reported on Wednesday.
Members of the Rotiroti, Zangari and Iannuzzi families have been urged to come forward and have been offered protection by the head of the Victoria Police homicide squad’s cold case team, Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Trichias.
