A brave man filmed every treadmill run he did while topless on his way to dropping more than three stone in eight months.

Billy Richards, 25, recorded his weight-loss journey in time-lapse footage at his home in London after taking the decision to lose the weight as part of a New Year’s Resolution.

In the video, Billy’s first entry is recorded on January 1, 2019, when he weighed 17 stone. 

He runs topless on the treadmill with an electric fan in front of him which appear to be under an outdoor shelter.  

Billy persists with using the treadmill and returns to it at least six times during January alone.

By early February, not only is he starting to look more slender but has also got rid of his signature beard before growing it back again in April.  

Billy reveals that he has dropped to 13 stone and 6 pounds by August 1.

The video ends with a side-by-side montage of Billy’s journey which show his astonishing results.

Speaking about his progress, he said that he had seen noticeable results not only to his physique but also to his health and mood which improved immensely since starting the challenge.

Billy said: ‘I felt slow and unwell before I lost weight.

‘Now I have so much more energy and I am a lot happier.

‘I have found it quite hard, I have had a few lapses.

‘I eat junk food when I am stressed so this happened a few times but I managed to get back on track.

‘Everyone has said I look great now, they have noticed a big loss from my face.’
