Ahead of the forthcoming 2019 general elections, members of the commonwealth observers, Monday stormed Nigeria and met with the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu and members of the Commission at the Commission’s conference hall Abuja.

As at the time of filling this report, no official statement has been issued by the commission as the reason behind the scheduled meeting. Their discussion will not be far from, ‘how the commission would guarantee a free, fair and credible election’.

Recall that the statement credited to the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai, last week threw Nigerians into panic.

Despite his unilateral explanations with the All Progressives Congress, APC, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and other Nigerians were disquieted over his statement on Body bag.
