He appeared on some of The Beach Boys biggest early hits, including Shut Down, Surfer Girl, Be True To Your School and Surfin’ USA.

After Jardine came back in 1963, Marks left and went on to be a session musician until being invited to tour with the group in the late 90s.

Years later in 2012 Marks joined other surviving members, Brian, Jardine, Mike Love and Bruce Johnston for the 50th reunion tour and appeared on their album That’s Why God Made The Radio.
