Love Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson has defended her decision to have £25k of cosmetic surgery and slams says people’s reactions to her sexploits was 100% sexist.
In a no-holds barred interview with Grazia, the 24-year-old said she believes she was beautiful BEFORE she spent thousands of pounds on changing her appearance.
She said: ‘I worked so hard to get all the money and I feel like I can spend it any way I want. If it makes me feel better I don’t know why that’s seen as a negative thing?
‘I was still beautiful in my own way back then. I’ve just changed a few things. I was comfortable then and I’m comfortable now.’
Different look: Megan Barton Hanson opted for retro glamour as she graced the latest edition of Grazia magazine with a striking photoshoot
Megan admits to spending £25k on two boob jobs, a nose job, veneers, lip fillers and pinning her ears back, but she admits she’s ‘never going to be 100% happy’.
The blonde bombshell, who is currently in a relationship with co-star Wes Nelson, oozed edgy chic as she slipped her buxom figure into a leather trench coat, tied in with studded thigh-high boots for the magazine’s photoshoot.
In another shot, the reality star accentuated her slender frame in a pair of form-fitting biker shorts and a white denim jacket, embellished with quirky balloon sleeves.
She said she wants to take the boots home for Wes and also reveals that she spent many nights in the villa trying to be honest with him about her past.
Speaking out: In a candid interview with the publication, the glamour model, 24, held nothing back as branded her ‘player’ portrayal as ‘sexist’ while reflecting on her time in the villa
She said: ‘I love you, but you have to know what I’ve done in my past.’
Megan also cried on camera that men only see her as a sex object and not ‘wife material.’
During her time on the show, the vixen ‘tested the waters’ with an array of hunky contestants, including Eyal Booker and Alex Miller, before settling with 20-year-old nuclear systems design engineer Wes.
When looking for love on the series, Megan revealed she thinks ‘girls have a harder time than men’, stating: ‘Look at Adam, how many girls did he go through? It’s sexist.’

Candid: When looking for love on the series, Megan revealed she thinks ‘girls have a harder time than men’, stating: ‘Look at Adam [Collard, pictured], how many girls did he go through?’
‘Even with the fact that I had sex in the villa, I’m open about that. Women enjoy sex just as much as men. Like, why can’t we say it? We should empower each other’, she added.
Megan also touched on a leaked webcam video of herself, which has now surfaced on Pornhub: I’m going to try and get it taken down. But I think once people have seen it, they’ve seen it and we’ve all got a vibrator… [laughs] Let a girl live!’
While the former stripper appears in the throes of love with Wes, she lifted the lid on her past experiences with dating as she recalled some of her worst encounters.
Megan admitted: ‘I was getting the worst bumble dates ever. I ran away from one, I got egged on one! I had people telling me they thought I was a catfish so they didn’t turn up.’

The TV personality, who has reportedly undergone 25,000 worth of cosmetic surgery, also shared her experience with battling self-confidence issues.
‘People don’t understand: how could you possibly be shy and insecure but comfortable being naked’, she said.
‘To go up and speak in front of people, that would be my absolute worst nightmare. But to go and parade around half-naked, I’d be absolutely fine. You can be shy in different ways.’
Simply stunning: She stripped back her typically heavy-coverage make-up as she complemented her stunning visage with neutral tones
Procedures: Megan has defended her long list of plastic surgery, stating: ‘I worked so hard to get all the money I could and I feel like I can spend it any way I want’
