A former bikie member of the Black Uhlans has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a millionaire in the chest – with parents and school children watching close by.
Steven Smith, 32, allegedly punched businessman Gold Coast businessman Paul Picone and stabbed him in the chest.
Smith reportedly worked in a cleaning business that Mr Picone and his family ran, according to 9 News.
9 News video footage also showed authorities tailing Smith’s car, which ended in a tense moment when a police officer pointed his gun at the vehicle to apprehend the suspect.

Police alleged that Smith, who was driving a Mitsubishi Triton, confronted Mr Picone, who had parked his car at Firth Park in Mudgeeraba.
A fight allegedly ensued between the two, which eventually led to the stabbing.
Parents and children were reportedly present at the park for rugby training when the incident occurred.
Bystanders intervened, with one witness allegedly going after Smith while another one came to Mr Picone’s aid, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported.
When the suspect was apprehended, police will also allege that Smith told them he had a camouflage handle knife in his waistband.
Following his arrest, Smith was charged with affray, unlawful wounding and knife possession.
In court, defence lawyer Campbell MacCallum asked for the case to be adjourned to the 7th of August to give way for a bail application for his client.

According to Gold Coast Bulletin, Mr MacCallum added, ‘I note from the QP9 material that there has been no complaint made on the charges and whoever hears the application on Tuesday will want to be appraised whether the complaint was made’.
Meanwhile, Mr Picone is in the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
