‘I live in Streetly, next to a school and people park badly but you expect people to park there. I have reported online to the police.’

Ms Cleaver cleaned her car windows with wet wipes and said the nature of the messages had upset her and her family.

‘I would have apologised if it had just been a note,’ she said.

Less than a week later Ms Cleaver said she was told that another car, a red Audi A1, that parked on the same street had been wrapped in cling film and a message on the windscreen, on Monday, August 12.
