Youths Disrupt the APC Election process in Bauchi state1 min read


 Muhammed Abubakar, The Bauchi State Governor, has clinched the All Progressives Congress’ governorship ticket again for the second time.

Governor Abubakar emerged the winner of the direct governorship primary that the party held in the state on Tuesday. He secured 75,086 votes out of 87,312 votes cast.

His three challengers in the primary who were Ibrahim Lame, Ali Pate and Bala Jibril have boycotted the exercise, and have alleged irregularities in the process.

It was reported that Elections  did not take place in some wards.The governor could also not cast his votes because the process was disrupted by some youths.
