Truth be said our mortality is a pain. The reality is really hurting that death is one thief the law can't prosecute. That death is one prison sentence for which there is no bail. And when we lose loved ones, our best consolation is that they are going somewhere where smiles are abound.

This was the case when our hero Nwankwo lost his mum EM Nikki. As we all know Kanu Nwankwo alias Papilo is a legendary retired Nigerian football. Kanu was famously one of the member of the Nigerian national football team; who would later go on to captain the team.

Kanu played for the Nigerian national football team for 16 years as his playing days spanned from 1994 until 2010. Plying his club trade in Europe as an intelligent forward. News of his mother Mrs Susan Kanu Iheme's who passed on September 7 – had only crept out to the public yesterday,

Facebook fans have been flooding Kanu's page with condolence messages. As of now it was not disclosed to us the details of the reason behind her death.

Yet we as a nation share Kanu's loss. Especially as he has regularly attributed his mother as a source of inspiration. While we mop the tears from our eyes with wet handkerchiefs, our lips still break into a small consolation smile when we remember Papilo still made her proud!
