At times we wonder if some people actually have their brains in their heads or in their trousers. And it is even more sad the way people allow their sense of reasoning to he drowned in a pool of lust leaking from a very dirty mind.

The case of a former US city mayor who raped a four year old girl on the grounds that the little girl initiated the sex is an example of this. The former US city mayor admitted to raping the four-year-old girl but according to him, the the victim was a "willing participant".

It is even more shameful considering that Richard Keenan, had previously described himself some time past as a "dedicated" Christian. And as it stands now, the former mayor will be facing several counts of rape and attempted rape of a minor.

In a confession to this heinous crime, Keenan admits that the abuse took place over a span of three years but he yet strongly pointed out that the small girl "initiated" sex.

Speaking more in his confession speech in course of a group discussions at a hospital, he admitted he now had suicidal tendencies thus he personally checked himself into a psychiatric clinic. Keenan had confessed to his wife, sister-in-law, brother as well as a social worker.

This is devastating especially for the four years old girl. It is humiliating that despite the height of our today civilization, one might habour sexual appetite for such a small girl.
It is now left to the judge to mete out befitting punishment for this shameful scandal.
