It poverty said insecurity but wealth is insecurity as well. If you can successfully escape hunger, the next task would be to escape thieves. That is the sad reality of life, while you work your fingers trying to make a better living, some person is some dark corner fingers romancing triggers in a bid to steal from you.

This was the case of landlords at Oshorun Heritage Estate who were invaded by robbers in military camouflages, at Channels Avenue, Isheri, Lagos State eventually making away with eight persons.

The victims, who happened to be landlords at Oshorun Heritage Estate, were going about their routine exercise beside Lekki Gardens Estate.

It was learnt that after about five minutes from when the victims landed on the exercise venue and were proceeding to spread their mats, armed men, numbering about eight, quickly encamped them shooting without caution.

While Dr. Omololu Bello, Kennedy Ucheagwu and Mr. Esang were eventually abducted by the gunmen, Engr. Gbenga Babayemi,Pius Ojoromi, Banjo Obisanya and Coach Ola embarked on a quick flight upon catching sight of the hooded men.

The people who managed to escape from the reports, made their way via race through the estate, daring to jump a high rise fence into a river where they had taken refuge for over fifty minutes. The escapees bemoaned victims had ran into water supposed crawling with snake and crocodiles.

This is very unfortunate that crime is one of profession our youths take pride in. Society must move to place essence on honest living. Our condolences to the families of landlords kidnapped in the incidence.
