Barely half a year after months which HKN major act, Davido signed a staggering watering with Sony Music Enter­tainment and RCA Records, Nigerian wonder Wizkid have followed in Davido's footsteps by signing a mind blowing deal with the Sony Music Entertainment. According to what we gathered, this Wizkid's deal is really mighty; even larger than that which has ever been signed by an ­African artist of which Davido is included.

Yet this is no luck for Wizkid, the super dude has been amazing, earning delightful musical collaboration with famed international artistes with list cutting across Drake, Swiss Beatz, Sean Paul, Chris Brown just or mention a few. Wizkid has well been headlining in­ternational events. The joyful implication of this is an applause for African mu­sic, Nigerian music ­most especially, as this is tremendous growth for the music business in Africa.

Since Wizkid exited his beginner record label, Empire Management Entertainment (EME) as well as parading his Star Boy, the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner has stretching his throats and brains putting up his first album under the Star Boy imprint, which he has named, ‘Sounds From The Other Side’. According to the arrangement from star boy frontline artiste, we will be seeing more international collabo­rations as times goes on.

With this deal in place, Wiz­kid gets on board of the increasing list of African stars who are working hands in hands with internation­al music companies to inflate their fan audience, as well as diffusing into foreign markets.
