Prosecutor Monica Ikebulo had declared to the court that the accused shot at a bush pig which consequently made a magical transformation into his friend.

The Magistrate, Ado-Ekiti Magistrates’ Court on Friday thus remanded the 33-year-old hunter, Ganiyu Abdullaral, in prison custody on the allegations of killing his friend who according to Ganiyu had changed into a pig.

Prosecutor Ikebulo had informed the court that the accused indulged in the alleged crime on Sept.9 at Iwaraji Camp via Efon Alaaye in Efon Alaaye -Ekiti.

According to Ikebulo, the accused on the aforementioned date in company of eight of his colleagues who have been no where to be found since then had embarked on a group hunting and contrary to the law shot his friend, Iginla Oluwashina, with his Dane gun.

This is quite a very twisted case, how will a bush pig transform into a man, even worse his best friend. How about after a very hard day of hustle, you get a bush animal to cook as your delicious reward for the hard day. Only for the animal to turn into a friend. Guess some die hard persons will be reluctant to lose their meat and wait for the friend to turn back into the animal for cooking to start!
